By bus, you can fill in the gaps left by train connections

I travelled from Finland to Germany via Sweden and Denmark. I used more buses than usual on the trip.

CO2 emissions

Train connections 48 kg (calculated at 14 grams / kilometer / passenger). In reality, the amount varies greatly depending on the section of track.

(In Sweden, train travel emissions are nearly zero. On the other hand, in Central Europe, there are areas where emissions are higher than the aforementioned 14 g/km)

Bus connections 37 kg (26 g / kilometer / passenger according to Flixbus’s announcement).

Total 85 kg

I made this trip in the autumn of 2023
