My journey using public transport began on March 11, 2024, at the Haaparanta train station and ended on April 16, at the same location. Five new countries and 13 new cities for me.

My second journey was to Italy. The trip passed through many countries and cities. The return journey also took a detour through Vienna and Prague.

Sometimes it can be too late and sometimes too early. Sometimes tickets are sold out and sometimes they are not yet on sale.

Packing your suitcase with the right items is important. There’s no need to carry unnecessary things, and some items are essential.

I made my first journey by land in the fall of 2022. I had purchased a five-day Interrail pass. I returned 16 days later.

The bus is a good option when traveling from Northern Finland to Central Finland.
